That’s why we say we offer far more than furniture. We’re Furnishing Knowledge. KI has an opening for an Order Entry Assistant at our Corporate headquarters in Green Bay, WI. In this role, you’ll support the order workflow by gathering, documenting, and organizing incoming customer order information, ensuring everything is complete and given to the Order Analysts to process. If you enjoy administrative work, attention to detail, like staying organized and supporting internal teams, you’ll thrive in this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer and typing skills; ability to learn new systems (such as BPCS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with openness to learning and adapting to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and route all incoming orders submitted via email, fax, and mail.
  • Assign KI order numbers and determine appropriate account numbers.
  • Scan, save, and electronically file all order documentation in the correct formats and locations.
  • Make sure the reports we get by email match what our system shows and that all needed files are included.
  • Maintain accurate electronic order folders and ensure all documents are saved as PDFs.
  • Monitor shared inboxes, faxes, and internal mail for new order-related communication.
  • Support the development of order entry procedures with consistency and accuracy in mind.
