Job Summary: Order Managers play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by serving as a communication hub between Sales and Manufacturing. Order Managers direct all sales requests through production and ensure that sales orders are fulfilled accurately for on time delivery.

Requirements

  • Prior experience accurately processing high volumes of paperwork
  • Ability to proficiently utilize computers for communication and logging data
  • Ability to work well under pressure with time constraints to meet strict deadlines
  • Self-directed, detail oriented and independent worker

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with an MRP/ERP
  • Prior inventory management experience

Responsibilities

  • Initiate production jobs and monitor the production process to ensure the timely delivery of products
  • Review sales order requests for accuracy
  • Confirm documents are issued in accordance with customer requirements, relaying quality documents as needed to meet customer needs
  • Effectively communicate with Production Departments and Sales staff regarding deliveries, inventory, production delays, and expedited orders
  • Properly maintain appropriate finished goods min/max levels
  • Oversee the daily movement and storage of inventory
  • Provide accurate year-end inventory counts
  • Identify and report quality problems or trends as appropriate
  • Exhibit commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Communicate in a clear, effective and professional manner
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-centric culture
