Orderbook Exchange Frontend Expert (React / Trading Systems) (Remote)
About The Position
We are looking for a highly experienced Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in orderbook-based trading systems to lead the build-out of a high-performance exchange interface. This role is ideal for someone who understands, at a technical product level, how centralized or decentralized exchanges are structured and why they behave the way they do. You will focus on minimizing latency from user entry to trade execution, ensuring performance, resilience, and precision under heavy load. The position combines frontend engineering excellence with strong product intuition around trading workflows and market microstructure. Depending on your profile, the scope can expand into full-stack contributions. This is a fully remote opportunity within a fast-growing, decentralized exchange and prime broker stack environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with orderbook exchanges at a technical product level (CEX, DEX, or TradFi trading platforms)
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Redux
- Experience building trading terminals, order management systems (OMS/EMS), or high-performance financial UIs
- Strong understanding of latency optimization and frontend performance engineering
- Experience designing scalable frontend architectures for real-time data environments
- Strong product sense in financial or trading applications
Nice To Haves
- Experience or interest in Rust or other high-performance languages
- Smart contract development experience
- Experience building or integrating risk engines
- Knowledge of node management and crypto infrastructure
- Understanding of crypto order flow supply chains
- Experience with xstate and Tailwind
- Background in options/futures trading platforms or portfolio dashboards
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a high-performance orderbook-based trading interface
- Optimize frontend architecture to minimize latency from user interaction to trade submission
- Ensure frontend components, APIs, and trading flows are performant, reliable, and scalable
- Build and refine trading terminals and user dashboards with precision and clarity
- Collaborate on API design and system architecture to support high-volume order flow
- Support integration with Telegram bots and other user entry points
- Contribute to engineering leadership and help raise the technical bar within the team
- Ensure system resilience under heavy traffic and volatile market conditions
