Requirements

• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages
• Ability to multitask and provide efficient support during busy clinical hour
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Radiography certification or willingness to obtain (as required by state)

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
• Prepare teeth and assist with bonding, debonding, and appliance placement
• Take orthodontic records including X-rays, photos, and impressions
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain clinical rooms, instruments, and treatment area cleanliness
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
