Requirements
- Active Washington State dental assistant license required
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience required
- Strong chairside skills and comfort managing a full ortho schedule
- Professional, patient-focused communication style
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Willingness to travel to Yakima when needed
Responsibilities
- Assist with orthodontic procedures including braces, adjustments, and appliances
- Provide confident, efficient chairside support in a fast-paced ortho setting
- Prepare operatories and maintain smooth clinical flow
- Take X-rays, photos, and digital records
- Educate patients on appliances, oral hygiene, and treatment expectations
- Support patient comfort and create a positive experience from start to finish
- Travel to the Yakima location as needed to support the team
