Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our comprehensive Orthopedic & Spine clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska. As part of a rural health system, you will have the opportunity to manage aspects of care that might not be possible in larger settings, allowing you to round out your skills and expand your breadth of experience. The Opportunity: Foundation Health Partners Orthopedic & Spine Specialists Clinic provides comprehensive orthopedic care to patients across Interior Alaska. This position offers a broad practice with a mix of clinic and surgical care supported by a strong referral base from Fairbanks and surrounding communities. We are seeking an experienced surgeon with a passion for rural general orthopedics, including joint replacement, fracture care, basic hand procedures, and arthroscopic surgeries. As part of a regional health system, physicians often manage the full spectrum of orthopedic care and build long term relationships with patients throughout the community. The role also offers flexibility for surgeons to shape aspects of their practice based on their training, experience, and clinical interests. Compensation: $600k base salary plus production. Expected compensation between $630k -$776k. $65k sign-on bonus . Eligible for an annual $ 10k physician incentive quality metric bonus. Schedule: 40 hours per week (3 clinic days and 1 OR day). 8 call shifts/mo. 7 weeks approved time off & 2 weeks for CME. Team: Partner with a multidisciplinary orthopedic team to include providers specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, and pain management. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board.
  • Current DEA number.
  • Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement.
  • Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care.
  • Must be willing to update skills constantly.
