About The Position

SUMMARY:
Provides support for appropriate orthotic and prosthetic devices/equipment as meets physician requirements and patient needs. Supports patient adherence to prescribed treatment plans by recommending and fitting orthotic & prosthetic related devices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
Responsible for fitting patents with physician order products as well as education as needed.
Responsible for growing orthotic & prosthetic revenue by identifying referral sources and meeting their needs.
Responsible for providing referral sources with orthotic & prosthetic product training.
Responsible for growing or maintaining desired profit margins of orthotic & prosthetic products.
Responsible for communicating patient demographic information, physician orders, and product specifications to DASCO.
Encourages and grows relationships with physician offices and hospital team members.
Other duties as assigned by the branch office manager/regional director.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• May require professional license as indicated by state rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in related field.
• Six months’ experience in healthcare/medical/insurance/DME customer service role
