About The Position

The Outage Coordinator will be responsible for supervising outage contractors including outage scope adds and removals, meeting preparation, assisting with contract personnel arrivals on site, and maintaining procedures used to develop and prepare for an outage. May be asked to coordinate specific scopes of work during the outage

Requirements

• High School degree/equivalent required
• Project Management/Maintenance/Operations/Supervision experience managing various facets of an Outage, such as Contractor coordination, project coordination, outage vendor oversight, etc
• Experience using scheduling tools.
• 15 or more years of power plant experience
• Teamwork

• Outage budgets related to responsible scopes of work

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated delivery of projects within cost and schedule constraints involving multiple vendors and coordination of a variety of internal work groups.
• Maintain all outage procedures and industry standards.
• Assist in Evaluating, incorporating and maintaining OE related to Outage execution, contingencies, and unit performance post outage.
• Develop and incorporate outage OPI initiatives.
• Assist in outage schedule development and Long-Range Planning.
• Monitor and control a project throughout its lifecycle to ensure it safely achieves the project deliverables within the approved scope, cost, and schedule. Act as single point of contact for management of vendors as required.
