Northwestern Settlement is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Outdoor Educator Facilitator to join our team at House in the Wood. Our camp provides a unique opportunity for children to explore nature, develop new skills, and deepen their connection with the environment. As an Outdoor Educator, you’ll play a vital role in creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that promote environmental awareness, teamwork, and personal growth. If you are eager to share your knowledge of nature, foster a love of the outdoors, and contribute to a safe, fun, and educational camp experience, we would love to hear from you! Job Summary: Educators teach multiple nature-related lessons (indoors and outdoors) to groups of 10 to 15 third through eighth-grade students. Lessons use our marsh, lake, forest, lawn, and Outdoor Education Center. They also implement our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices while supervising students. This position provides on-site housing, and meals when programs are in sessions.
