Sodexo is seeking a Full‑Time Outpatient Nutrition & Diabetes Education Registered Dietitian to join the UCHealth Southern Region Dietitian Team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is ideal for an experienced RD supporting a large, integrated health system that includes Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, and Grandview Hospital—a combined ~600‑bed region. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to a diverse outpatient population, with clinical focus areas including diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, enteral nutrition, cardiac conditions, renal disease, and bariatric surgery preparation Conduct individual outpatient nutrition counseling sessions and facilitate group education classes to support disease management and lifestyle modification Assess patient and family education needs and provide education consistent with the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care in Diabetes, American Heart Association, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Maintain knowledge of diabetes technology and devices, demonstrating ongoing learning in diabetes management Participate in professional development, including continuing education, conferences, and professional activities that enhance diabetes care knowledge What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with 2+ years acute inpatient and/or 3+ years outpatient nutrition experience.
  • CDCES or BC‑ADM required, or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire (ADA‑recognized program)
  • Experience using the Nutrition Care Process and documenting in an EMR
  • Strong independent judgment, problem‑solving skills, and ability to collaborate in a team‑based environment
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
