Outpatient Pharmacist
About The Position
Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated pharmacist for our Outpatient team. Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by: rounding with patient care teams, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients/families, precepting pharmacy students and residents, reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and participating in quality and safety improvement projects. Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in an outpatient/retail capacity.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in an outpatient/retail role.
- Licensed preceptor with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
