About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN Location: NovaCare in Hunt Valley, MD Schedule: Part-time or PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) Specialties: ortho, TMJ/TMD, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), and a Fall Prevention Program. NovaCare in Hunt Valley is seeking OP Ortho experienced Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. Previous outpatient experience is required for consideration. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. NovaCare Hunt Valley OP Center Hours: Mon/Tues/Thurs 7:30 A.M.- 7 P.M. and Wed/Fri 7:30 A.M.- 1:30 P.M. Why Work With Us? Requirements

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
• Previous outpatient experience is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
