About The Position

Beltway Companies is searching for a Full-Time Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team! About Us: Beltway Companies is the largest commercial truck dealership in Maryland, committed to providing first-class service to our clients, employees, and communities. We specialize in sales, leasing, rentals, maintenance, and repairs for commercial trucks. We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team in the Baltimore area. If you have strong organizational skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with truck or automotive parts, we want to hear from you! Position Overview: Beltway Companies Outside Parts Sales Representatives are charged with providing for the parts needs of wholesale and fleet customers. The Outside Parts Sales Representatives responsibility is to represent the Parts Department in the customer’s place of business, address their parts needs, respond to information inquires, process parts orders, identify sales opportunities and sell additional parts and accessories. Additional responsibilities are to assist with light delivery and sales promotional activities in the customer’s place of business.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of related sales or parts experience preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in sales, truck parts, automotive parts, or a service shop environment a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/order management systems
  • Strong communication skills for working effectively with internal teams
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits
  • Understand customer operations and identify parts needs and sales opportunities
  • Respond quickly to customer inquiries, orders, and service issues
  • Prospect and develop new business within assigned territory
  • Present parts solutions, promotions, and new product offerings
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales quotes and proposals
  • Coordinate orders with parts and service teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Follow up on orders, backorders, and deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and reports
