Our team has over 300 years combined experience in selling and installing appliances, and we operate two showrooms in Houston and Austin to educate and inspire the area's top builders, remodelers, designers, architects, and their clients. Our selection, expertise, and customer service have made K&N a trusted partner for thousands of customers for over 70 years, and we are looking to grow our sales team in Austin! Position Overview: As an Outside Sales Associate, you will serve as a high-performing, self driven salesperson. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and customer-facing roles, is goal-oriented, and passionate about producing results.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, ideally in appliances, luxury home goods, or similar retail sectors.
- A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy and proficient with CRM and POS systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends and holidays.
- Self-starter who thrives on achieving goals and earning commissions.
Responsibilities
- Engage and build relationships with customers in our 7,000 sq. ft. showroom.
- Develop a personal book of business through outreach, referrals, and exceptional customer service.
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions across a wide range of indoor and outdoor luxury appliances.
- Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Maintain thorough follow-up with customers pre- and post-sale.
