About The Position

Minneapolis Glass in Brooklyn Park, MN is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Rep to join our Architectural Glass Sales Team. Do you have B2B (business to business) sales expertise in manufacturing? Would you like to be responsible for proactively engaging our existing and prospective glass manufacturing customers ? Do you enjoy focusing on proactive sales outreach to assigned customers to drive custom glass sales without all the cold calling? This position earns a competitive salary starting at $65,000 plus a car allowance and an annual bonus potential . This is not a commission-based role. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OUTSIDE SALES REP As an Outside Sales Rep you will be responsible for growing revenue by proactively engaging existing, lost, lapsed, or prospective glass manufacturing customers . You will maintain regular external sales calls and visits to stay top-of-mind with customers. You will identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and bring qualified sales prospects back to Inside Sales for quoting and order processing. It is key to maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions and opportunity status. In addition to being on the road visiting customers throughout the greater Twin Cities area , you will also represent the broader sales team at industry events. Communication and collaboration are key to form strong relationships with customers, vendors, and your team. You are the face of Minneapolis Glass in the marketplace. Requirements

  • High School diploma required; secondary education in Business or related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience in outside sales, account management, or business development, ideally in custom fabrication or industrial manufacturing
  • Experience with glass or a related manufacturing field strongly preferred
  • Proven success in building manufacturing B2B customer relationships and driving sales growth
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Outlook and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to travel locally for customer visits
