About The Position

You will focus on both developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships to ensure high renewal rates and exceptional customer satisfaction. The products you'll represent include low and medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, motor control, transformers, switching systems, life-extension programs, and various legacy power apparatus. Additionally, you'll promote innovative CBS-designed products such as remote racking solutions, electrical test products, and CBS vacuum interrupter replacement bottles. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our inside sales team, product specialists, and engineering department to plan, prepare, and execute complex electrical system upgrade projects. Your ability to match customer requirements with appropriate solutions will be crucial to your success. You'll create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate our unique value proposition to potential clients. As part of your responsibilities, you'll manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and effectively communicate client needs to our engineering and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, contractors, end-users, and engineering firms will be essential to promoting CBS's full range of services. This position requires willingness to travel within your assigned territory. While a Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, it's not mandatory if you have equivalent experience in the field. At minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a 2-year degree being the preferred educational background. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in sales with a strong electrical background, demonstrating a proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions.
