About The Position

Washington Blvd Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Technician! Position Details Role: Overnight Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: $20.00 - $ 28.00/hour Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. Holidays and one weekend night per week are required. Calling all night owls! Washington Blvd Animal Hospital is looking to add a full-time overnight Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team! This role extends our dedication to patient care by tending to hospitalized patients throughout the night, and making sure the hospital is ready for the day shify. Responsibilities

  • Follow digital treatment plans prescribed by DVM
  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Experience in monitoring anesthesia
  • Emergency and surgical care
  • Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
