About The Position

The P&O Solutions Lead is a senior position in the reward function, acting as a strategic leader for the reward agenda within the P&O & Gas businesses. The role focuses on developing and delivering innovative reward solutions to address strategic business and people challenges. This includes providing broad-ranging reward consulting and support to the business and PC&C Senior Leadership, and delivering integrated reward support across reward, benefits, and international mobility. The role is responsible for being connected within the reward CoE team, collaborating with senior customers, and ensuring the successful design and implementation of global reward projects. Requirements

  • Total rewards experience, including delivery of related solutions in a client facing environment either in a consulting or corporate.
  • Experience with direct or indirect people management and delegation.
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial skill and able to analyze the bottom-line impact of reward initiatives.
  • Deep and varied experience of managing reward issues for a diverse and varied population within a demanding global, matrix environment.
  • Strong practical knowledge of reward practices and experience of designing reward solutions
  • Solid knowledge of the regulatory, legal, and social requirements for reward in a global environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of building rapport with the business and the partnering teams and holding an open, progressive, and visionary attitude - operating with ‘art of the possible’.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resource, Business, or related field desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the VP Executive Reward and the Reward leadership team in developing reward programmes for a changing bp.
  • Advise and support regularly with the P&O SVP PC&C and Heads of Entity/Businesses.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing business-critical and innovative reward solutions within and for the business. This may include developing innovative reward solutions outside Group frameworks.
  • Provide broad-ranging reward advice, guidance, and business-specific consultancy to P&O and related PC&C Leadership.
  • Facilitate reward-related business approval processes as defined by the delegation of authority.
  • Participate in projects and ensure embedding and execution of global reward programmes within the specific.
  • Review project activity and agree with direction based on project purpose.
  • Communicate intent with reward team, partnering and the business.
  • Support the development and delivery of agile projects across the P&C function including Total Reward Reviews.
  • Support reward activities associated with divestment/new country entry.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in all areas of total reward.
  • Ensure global reward projects are successfully embedded in the business.
  • Champion new ways of working where reward CoE and Operations and Advisory teams work together to achieve excellence in reward solutions.
