About The Position

We’re looking for a Procurement Catalog Enablement Analyst to expand and optimize our Coupa catalog program. You will proactively identify opportunities to convert free‑form requisitions to guided buying via internal catalogs, partnering with business stakeholders and suppliers to deliver accurate, compliant, and user‑friendly catalog content. Your work will reduce cycle time and maverick spend, improve data quality, and drive user adoption across our Source‑to‑Pay ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in Procurement Operations, P2P, or Catalog/Content Management; Coupa experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent 3-5+ Work Experience with Coupa
  • Hands on with Coupa catalogs (hosted & punchout), supplier enablement, and content standards/taxonomy (e.g., UNSPSC).‑on with
  • Strong Excel/Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, TEXT, SUBSTITUTE/REPLACE, data cleansing), and comfort with CSV/CIF files and bulk loads.
  • Proven experience interpreting contracts/price lists and validating pricing, UOM, and item attributes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cXML/OCI punchouts, supplier onboarding, and testing tools (e.g., postman, Coupa test harnesses).
  • Familiarity with guided buying, search tuning/boosting, and relevance optimization within Coupa.
  • Exposure to Master Data Management (supplier, item master), classification/taxonomy, and data governance.
  • Analytics experience in Coupa Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau; working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Background with indirect categories (MRO, IT peripherals, office supplies, lab, facilities) or services catalogs (rate cards, SOW line items).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical free‑form requisitions, PO lines, and invoice data to identify high‑volume, repetitive spend suitable for catalog creation or expansion.
  • Build and maintain a catalog roadmap (quarterly) with clear business cases, ROI, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Define content strategy (punchout, hosted, or CIF) by category and supplier; recommend the optimal model based on price volatility, item complexity, and supplier capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end catalog onboarding: content templates, UNSPSC/category mapping, attributes, images, units of measure, lead times, and price/discount structures.‑to‑end catalog onboarding
  • Create, publish, and maintain hosted catalogs in Coupa (including pricing updates, bundles/kits, cross‑sell, and favorites).
  • Coordinate and test punchout catalogs (OCI/cXML), handle runtime validations, and ensure seamless user experience and cart return.
  • Establish and enforce content standards (naming conventions, taxonomy, attribute completeness, ADA/UX considerations, multilingual where needed).
  • Own catalog change control: versioning, approvals, and scheduled refresh cadence; maintain an audit trail.
  • Work directly with suppliers to gather content, enable punchouts, and negotiate catalog SLAs (update frequency, price accuracy, defect rates).
  • Partner with Category Managers, AP/Finance, IT/Integrations, Security, and Legal to align catalog scope with contracts, policies, and data/privacy requirements.
  • Drive business stakeholder adoption through enablement sessions, quick guides, and office hours; incorporate feedback into backlog.
  • Ensure catalog items reflect contracted pricing, terms, and preferred suppliers; align with compliance policies (e.g., Do‑Not‑Buy lists, restricted items).
  • Implement quality checks: duplicate detection, UOM alignment, UNSPSC accuracy, inactive/obsolete item cleanup, and VAT/tax flags where applicable.
  • Monitor invoice exceptions attributable to catalog issues and remediate root causes (price mismatches, UOM/part # discrepancies).
  • Define and track KPIs: % shift from free‑form to catalog buys, catalog adoption by category, cycle time reduction, PO accuracy, price‑match rate, audit defects per 1,000 lines.
  • Build dashboards (Coupa Analytics/Looker/Power BI) to visualize adoption and savings; present insights and quarterly plans to leadership.
  • Run A/B tests on guided buying tiles, search relevance, and curated collections to improve user experience and conversion.
