We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Associate to join our team. The Packaging Associate will be responsible for packaging small auto parts efficiently using existing processes. This role requires maintaining maximum efficiency, ensuring that order fulfillment is met in a timely manner to daily goals. Attention to quality control, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. Operate label printers and computer programs essential to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of small auto parts. Maintain full production capacity by keeping up with the speed and output of orders. Load and unload materials into the labeling equipment to sustain continuous operation. Monitor equipment for performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions to the maintenance team to minimize downtime. Conduct quality inspections to ensure that all packaged products meet company standards without slowing production. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Follow all company policies and procedures related to production, safety, and quality control. Assist with labeling, stacking, and preparing packaged goods for shipping while ensuring workflow efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed production goals and deadlines. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and repetitive work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus.
