About The Position

Pregis is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Packaging Coordinator to support our production floor and quality efforts. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to person for coordinating packers, ensuring quality standards are met, supporting SAP requirements, and keeping communication flowing between shifts and departments. Requirements

  • Experience in administrative work, SAP, or quality-related tasks (manufacturing experience a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with others.
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in troubleshooting and resolving workflow or process issues.
  • Leadership qualities that support teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or technical training preferred
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Prior quality experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Verify all SAP materials are accurate and aligned with the job specifications.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the shift and report any non‑conformance issues.
  • Review packaging for SOP compliance and correct/document deviations.
  • Coordinate QC testing, hourly quality pulls, and quality-related engagement with packers.
  • Support packers and shift leadership with direction, coaching, and workflow management.
  • Ensure job rotations (every 30 minutes minimum) are executed consistently across shifts.
  • Help manage schedules, breaks, and fair overtime distribution in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain seamless communication with Supervision, Human Resources, and the next shift.
  • Assist HR with temporary employee onboarding, paperwork, and timekeeping.
  • Conduct safety training for new employees and ensure compliance with Pregis safety standards.
  • Train new packers, QC staff, and packer leads following the established training matrix.
  • Print labels, maintain pallet flags, and support accurate job documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Pregis and our staffing partners.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and champion continuous improvement efforts.
