About The Position

The Packaging Designer will be responsible for the visual and structural design of product packaging. They will work closely with the marketing team to develop packaging that aligns with brand guidelines, reflects the quality of our products, and speaks effectively to our target consumers. This role is essential in ensuring that all packaging not only captivates visually but also fulfills legal, environmental, and production specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in packaging design, preferably with experience in consumer electronics or accessories.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Sketch/other design software.
• Strong understanding of print processes and packaging materials, with the capability to produce high-quality, production-ready artwork.
• Excellent color perception, typography, and layout skills, along with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of structural design principles and die-line creation for custom packaging solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and working collaboratively across teams.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field is preferred, along with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills in packaging and graphic design.
• Strong awareness of industry standards, trends, and innovations.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative packaging solutions that engage consumers and enhance product visibility on shelves.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering, to ensure design viability and brand alignment.
• Adapt existing packaging designs for new product launches while maintaining brand integrity and quality standards.
• Prepare and deliver accurate print-ready artwork, collaborating with external vendors to achieve high-quality production results.
• Stay informed on industry trends, packaging technology, and consumer preferences to continually enhance packaging strategies.
• Maintain effective project management practices to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
