About The Position

Allweather Wood Company (AWW) is looking for Packaging Laborers to join our full-line manufacturing and distribution facility in Loveland, CO . This is a non-exempt position at an hourly rate of $24.87 and includes benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 401K match. To learn more about our benefits click Here Allweather Wood is the largest producer and distributor of waterborne preservative treated wood products in the Western USA. Operating six wood preserving plants in California, Colorado, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, these state-of-the-art facilities enable year-round production of a variety of preservative systems, fire retardants and wood species, including Douglas-fir, Hem fir, and Southern Yellow Pine. With support from two full-service distribution centers in California, Allweather Wood partners with home improvement retailers, lumberyards, and building material dealers to bring a full range of preservative and fire-retardant lumber and plywood products to market. Responsibilities The Packaging Laborer will assist in various duties throughout the warehouse in a safe and productive manner. Requirements

Keep area clean at all times
Willingness to work weekends and off shift dependent on market conditions
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to train to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and understand instructions and memos.
Ability to write simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to communicate and occasionally required to climb or balance
Subject to varying weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, wind, heat and cold
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close, color, peripheral and depth perception.
This position is repetitive and fast paced in nature.
The employee must pay attention to detail.
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position requires wearing eye protection, leather/rubber gloves, safety shoes, and safety vest.
