Packaging Systems Manufacturing Technician — Rochester, NY Picture this: it’s 6:00 PM and the production floor hums to life. You walk your line, verify materials, bring machines online, and use SOPs to lock in quality from the very first run. Through the night, you tune packaging equipment, navigate HMI screens, and keep the team on pace to hit targets—finishing your shift with clean data logs and a spotless work area. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfort with shop math for measurements and calculations.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine operation.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and Human–Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Collaborative mindset with sharp attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Run the line by the book—follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to remove waste and boost throughput.
• Set up machinery for each production run to achieve optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot packaging machines and their HMI interfaces.
• Coordinate with teammates to meet output goals and deadlines.
• Keep your station safe, orderly, and audit-ready at all times.
• Record production metrics and escalate variances or issues promptly.
