When you grow, we grow. How you will make an impact: Packaging Technician will assist with general packaging duties including preparing any completed product for shipping/delivery. Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements. Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications. Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery, or notifies maintenance department. Visually inspects product, bags, and labels finished filter packages. Prepares product for shipping and delivery using set guidelines for packaging specifications including shrink wrapping any necessary items. This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA. The skills and experience youll need: Packaging skills are trained by Meissner. No other training required. A personal commitment to ensure quality packaging standards is essential. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to record production results. Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
