Work Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday Pay Rate: $23.62/hr. Shift: 3rd SUMMARY Transfers and stacks product from the production line to a pallet. Records the pallet tag number, product, size, label, time, code, quantity and filler. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Records the pallet tag number, product, package size, label and time of day on the last case placed on the pallet; as well as, sell by code, quantity per pallet and filler. Records the quantity, product and label of cases sent to salvage. When each pallet is completed, fills out a pallet tag to match that pallet. Ensures color of the pallet tag complies with color assigned to that day of the week. Places the pallet tag on the upper left side of the pallet facing the fork truck operator. Stretch wraps the pallet to secure for transport to the mechanical stretch wrap machine. Operates the walk behind pallet jack to create space for the next pallet to be stacked. During changeovers, aid the line & filler operators in transition from one product to the next. Responsible for stacking two production lines and for following all instructions provided by any Company authorized trainer. Check boxes for leaks and for the correct sell-by code every fifteen (15) minutes. Ensures cases are sealing properly. Ensures box code information is on both sides of the box and is responsible for legible codes on both sides of every case. Codes must be clear and easily read. Ensures the necessary information is on the correct box. Keeps the pallet area clean from debris, product or other clutter that may interfere with the success of the operation. Notifies the Pure-Pak operator when an order quantity is less than scheduled. Pack rate must match the case packing rate. Immediately (within five minutes) notify the shift supervisor when your equipment is unable to operate. This excludes product changeovers and other routine reasons for downtime. Must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), safety regulations and plant policies. Performs any and all duties as directed by Supervision. Works closely with Supervisors, Pure-Pak Operator, Line Operator and the Pallet Transporter. Communicates to the Production Supervisor any condition that prevents the manufacture of product to established standards. Perform duties as required and assigned. All employees are expected to support the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program by following food safety and quality procedures, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and reporting any concerns. Team members must understand their role in the SQF System, complete required training, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement to ensure safe, high-quality products.

  • Minimum high school diploma with higher education or certification required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
  • Must proactively direct value-added work under slack conditions.
