About The Position

As a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse , you will play a critical role in post-operative patient recovery. Responsibilities include airway management, neurological and cardiac monitoring, initial wound care, and rapid response to complications. You will collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and smooth transitions of care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PACU RN experience (within last year)
• Active Florida RN license (or approved multistate/compact RN license)
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma
• BLS certification (within 30 days of start)
• ACLS and PALS certification (within 60 days of start)

Nice To Haves

• Critical Care experience strongly preferred

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care

• Provide evidence-based interventions and manage complications
• Document patient condition and care thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and follow-up care
