About The Position

The Paid Growth Marketing Lead will be responsible for executing and optimizing CD Valet’s paid and performance-based growth efforts across channels, platforms, and partners. This role owns the day-to-day relationship with our external growth marketing firm, leads affiliate marketing initiatives, partners with Email Marketing and Organic Growth Leads, and supports the evaluation and expansion of additional acquisition channels. This position involves being hands-on with analytics, reporting, and funnel optimization, and will partner closely with Product to improve conversion and subscriber acquisition outcomes. This role is ideal for a growth marketer with strong execution skills who is ready to take broader ownership in a fintech marketplace environment. This is a hybrid/remote position. Candidates residing in the Puget Sound region are expected to work onsite 2 days each week. Candidates residing outside of this region are expected to travel to the office quarterly. Additional onsite work may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in paid, performance, or growth marketing roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns and budgets.
  • Experience working with external agencies or growth marketing partners.
  • Experience with influencer and affiliate marketing programs or partner-driven growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in attribution and performance reporting.
  • Comfort operating in regulated or compliance-conscious environments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated marketplaces.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns targeting older adults (typically ages 55+, including retirees and pre-retirees).
  • Familiarity with deposit products (savings, CDs, money market, etc.).
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or funnel optimization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across search, social, display, and other performance channels
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with CD Valet’s external growth marketing firm, including planning, performance reviews, and testing priorities
  • Support testing and evaluation of new paid marketing platforms and opportunities
  • Lead and grow CD Valet’s affiliate and influencer marketing programs
  • Recruit and manage affiliate partners, including content development, performance tracking, and ongoing optimization
  • Ensure affiliate and influencer messaging and traffic quality align with financial services standards and compliance requirements
  • Own paid growth analytics and reporting across channels and partners
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and funnel performance
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to Marketing, Product, and leadership
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
  • Partner with Product to improve end-to-end customer journeys to improve conversion
  • Identify friction points in the funnel and collaborate on experiments to improve conversion ratesAlign paid traffic with product flows, disclosures, and partner requirements
