Paint & Body Worker
About The Position
Perform restoration procedures on all body parts of automotive vehicles including trucks, trolleys and buses; install glass, paint and perform a variety of other restoration activities and perform a variety of other related activities in support of the maintenance and restoration of City vehicles. This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus a two (2) year technical certificate or training in automotive repair; and
- Two (2) years of vehicle restoration experience.
- Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
- Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
- Possession of a valid New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A within six (6) months from date of hire.
- Possession of an AC recovery and CNG fuel certificate within six (6) months from date of hire.
