About The Position

Peddler's Village, located in Bucks County, PA, is seeking a full-time painter to join our facilities team.

Requirements

• 1-2years of commercial painting experience
• Experience with painting tools and techniques
• Valid Driver’s License
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.
• Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong guest service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform routine touch ups
• Paint interior and exterior of all buildings
• Ability to handle and operate equipment such as ladders and lifts
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards.
• Cleaning, sanding, patching, and removing old paint, wallpaper, or other finishes to ensure surfaces are smooth and ready for painting
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply paint, stain, or varnish, achieving consistent coverage and clean lines
• Mixing and matching colors to achieve desired shades, and understanding the impact of lighting and surroundings on color perception
• Creating precise edges and corners, addressing imperfections, and ensuring a flawless finish
• Power washing, sandblasting, epoxy floor coating, setting up scaffolding, and working on ladders
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and properly store flammable materials.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Preform other reasonable job duties as requested, such as grounds work, snow plowing or general maintenance projects.
