About The Position

As a Pallet Sorter, you will support the Shipping team by providing them with the necessary tools needed allowing them to maintain customer satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Include: Must be fully trained and fluent on Transporter & Dock Stocker PITS Utilize powered industrial equipment to unload trailers of pallets. Utilize powered industrial equipment to sort and deliver ready to use pallets to the shipping/bulk departments. Utilize powered industrial equipment to sort and deliver broken pallets to appropriate areas Unload trailer of totes and deliver to assigned areas Meets productivity and accuracy standard. Other duties and tasks assigned. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job. High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions. Previous experience helpful, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Requirements
