About The Position

Panel Builder Tommy’s is looking for a Panel Builder to oversee the production of Industrial Control Panels to be used in car washes. What can Tommy's offer you? Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or 4+ years experience in related field
  • Ability to read, interpret, and make corrections to electrical drawings
  • General knowledge of power tools, measuring devices like tape measures, calipers, etc.
  • Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within database systems a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels in accordance with electrical control panel drawings and UL 508a standards.
  • Test and certify control panels for quality, functionality and accuracy
  • Program/install software on control system devices such as PC’s, Network equipment, and HMI’s.
  • Provide feedback, consultation, and design recommendations to management to improve product quality and build time.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels with purchasing and inventory teams.
  • Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
