Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Daily involvement with drafting and updating welfare benefit plan documents.
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to welfare benefit plan documents, including COBRA and ERISA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
- Draft and update welfare benefit plan documents (e.g., medical benefits), including summary plan descriptions and summaries of benefits and coverage, in accordance with internal and client guidelines.
- Participate in new group meetings for assigned accounts.
- Understand and apply applicable laws and regulations in the preparation of welfare benefit plan documents.
- Review client benefit materials to ensure alignment with organizational standards in order to create welfare benefit plan documents.
- Provide operational support to team members and contribute to daily workflow activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
