  • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
  • Experience operating in Loansphere/ BKFS, TEMPO;
  • Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Background in creditors rights, mortgage foreclosure preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and to prioritize that work appropriately
  • Assisting attorneys in reviewing and preparing litigation pleadings and related documents
  • Assist in preparing attorneys and witnesses for hearings, trials, depositions and other complex litigation
  • Communicate with the courts, clients and opposing counsel
  • Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations
  • Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Exercise a high-degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections requirements (as applicable)
