Roles and Responsibilities: Provide ALS and BLS medical support Knowledge of radio systems, navigation, and wildland fire behavior Liaise with incident command staff, other agency personnel, and local fire assets in a courteous and professional manner Safely operate vehicles, including but not limited to trucks, ATVs, and UTVs Complete incident, company, and patient paperwork accurately and efficiently Maintain and secure narcotics and narcotic documentation as per SOG Perform basic maintenance on equipment including vehicles and line gear Perform other work-related duties as direct by Team Lead/Supervisor/Wildland Manager All Wildland Team Members: Must attend a Wildland Orientation week, pass all skills and physical fitness testing Full day rates are paid for travel to/from the fire and the Adventure Medics headquarters in Bend, OR Shifts will be a minimum of 16 hours while on assignment (providers are contracted to incidents as a 24-hour resource) Uniform and equipment provided (wildland boots not provided)
