About The Position
BHA is looking for energetic, passionate, and motivated Paraprofessionals/ Behavioral Plan Implementer to provide care and support to our clients from ages 5 to 21 years of age, in our school based program. You will assist individuals with developmental challenges through utilization of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BHA's Academy provides year-round, academic instruction. As an ABA Implementer you will be responsible for implementation of the student’s Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) and reaching behavior and academic goals in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Requirements
- Associates degree or Paraprofessional certifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high performing team environment under strict deadlines.
- Advanced organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training.
- Strong negotiating, listening and superior interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well to overcome obstacles to achieve program success.
- Proficient in computer usage (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Related college courses and/or degree preferred
- One year of experience in a related field preferred
