About The Position
Parboil Drier Operator - Parboil Plant Regular work schedule is 12-hour shifts 7p-7a 4-on/4-off including weekends. Hours worked from 5pm - 6am Monday – Friday will receive a 15% shift premium. Job Description Set burner temps and air flow, monitor grain temp and moisture content, start and stop conveying equipment, set storage bins for receiving dried grain Must be able to: work outdoors in all kinds of weather, climb and work at heights of over 100 feet
Requirements
- Must be able to distinguish differences in color or grains
- Add, subtract, compute percentages read dials and gauges and lift heavy weights up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to ride a man lift, climb stairs, work in ambient temperatures.
- work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- climb and work at heights of over 100 feet
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED preferred.
