Summary The Parent Partner position is full-time and works out of our Chico, CA, office. This position provides direct services to children and families, secures community resources and participates in orientation as well as serving as a liaison for parent involvement. This position offers support to each individual family, as defined with the family team and works as equal partners with the Wraparound Facilitator/ICC and Licensed Clinician to create a family-centered, strength-based, culturally relevant, needs driven planning process for creating individualized services and supports for children, youth and their families.

Requirements

  • You MUST be a parent or relative of a special needs child, an adoptive parent, or have experience navigating child welfare or juvenile justice systems.

  • Knowledge of community resources & networking skills are needed to perform this job satisfactorily
  • Possess a valid California Driver’s License with a clear driving record for the past three (3) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred and one year full time experience or;
  • AA degree in Behavioral Science and two years full time experience or;
  • High School Diploma/GED with lived experience.
