The Parking Enforcement Attendant is responsible for patrolling assigned areas, such as public parking lot or building entrances. They delegate parking spaces, keeping areas open and remove illegally parked vehicles. Performs function in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements
- Complies with and supports health center regulations and policies.
- Able to stand in inclement weather such as light snow and/or rain.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred two years’ experience in similar position.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect patients, employees, equipment and property.
- Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinance.
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
- Help patrons exit parking garage safely.
- Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between drivers.
- Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program.
- Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.
