About The Position

Park Kalamazoo is currently searching for outgoing personalities to join our team. The enforcement position has a work schedule of Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00am-6:30pm. Job description as follows: Patrols, monitors, and enforces on-street spaces as well as lots and parking ramps. Enforcement officers issue parking citations on foot, with minimal driving required. This full-time position offers full health benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Patrols, monitors, and enforces on-street spaces as well as lots and parking ramps
• Enforcement officers issue parking citations on foot, with minimal driving required
• Practices good public relations with customers and visitors by answering questions and providing information concerning parking services and traffic regulations
• Patrols metered, time-limited and monthly parking areas
• Utilizes handheld ticket devices to issue citations for parking violations
• Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and safety practices
• Appears in court as witness against violators (as needed)
• Reports inoperative meters to meter technician personnel
• Assists with customer service activities
