Today Tanglewood annually draws over 350,000 visitors. Each season offers not only a vast quantity of music, but also a vast range of musical forms and styles, all of it presented with a regard for artistic excellence that makes the festival unique. About the Role Parking Attendants guide patrons to parking spaces, assist with post-event traffic flow, and provide directions while working flexible summer hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Required to work days, nights and weekends throughout the summer.
- Must be able and willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
- A firm professional presence with the demonstrated ability to provide clear, effective direction to patrons
- Position requires standing and walking for several hours at a time.
- Work begins in June through mid-September.
- Appropriate attire required.
Responsibilities
- Direct arriving patrons to available parking spaces prior to and during events.
- Assist with post-event vehicle egress from Tanglewood parking lots in accordance with Tanglewood facilities practices and protocols.
- Provide assistance to patrons in need of directions to the concert venue.
