Position Summary Reporting to the Parking Manager , the Parking Supervisor will manage day-to-day event parking, transportation at Venue, Iowa State University. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00 This position will remain open until May 29, 2026.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must have one (1) year previous experience .
  • Core customer communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain core values while working on property.
  • Inspect parking lots several times throughout day.
  • Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
  • Assist m anager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow.
  • Assist M anager with traffic management program and creating Traffic Command Center in SOC monitoring real-time parking data .
  • Assist M anager with enforcement of employee parking program.
  • Ensure event day checklists are follow ed & completed for entirety of event.
  • Ensure campus is set up and lots are ready for event.
  • Report traffic incidents in lots to manager.
  • Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operati ons.
  • Perform inventory management.
  • Assist M anager by gathering information to respond to guest inquires and investigate complaints / concerns.
  • Assisting w ith the continuous evaluation and adjustment pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
