About The Position

Parking Supervisor Hours 10am-6pm Monday through Friday The Parking Supervisor is responsible for facilitating an efficient and high-quality operation by supporting and guiding team members to deliver exceptional service. This role ensures every guest receives a positive and welcoming experience through professional engagement, safe practices, and efficient operations. The Supervisor assists in leading daily operations across all parking programs, including both indoor and outdoor services, ensuring each department is properly staffed and operating smoothly. This position also helps oversee operational programs, supports team members, and addresses escalated operational issues when necessary. We are seeking a strong candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced, non-stop operation, effectively multitask across multiple service programs, collaborate with other supervisors, and ensure the team feels supported at all times.

Requirements

  • Able to work in inclement weather when needed.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Able to push patients in wheelchairs.
  • Able to stand for extended periods without sitting (approx. (1-2) hours) at a time.
  • Able to use email (especially from a mobile device).
  • Has basic PC skills (Microsoft word and Outlook).
  • Easily able to learn new software systems.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License in state of residency
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of team members and guests at all times; complete and communicate incident reports as needed.
  • Assist in overseeing all parking operational programs, including indoor and outdoor services. This may include filling in for a department role when short staffed.
  • Ensure all call outs are reported to management in real time and that available staff is leveraged correctly across departments to maintain efficient operations.
  • Operate vehicles safely, when required, to minimize the risk of accidents.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate tracking of vehicle keys and parked vehicles throughout the garage as well as conduct routine department audits and report discrepancies in real time to management.
  • Ensure all team members deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, assisting, and engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain organization and operational flow within the garage and surrounding operational areas.
  • Promote a positive and upbeat workplace environment that reflects the company’s service standards.
  • Foster a supportive team atmosphere where team members feel supported and equipped to perform their roles successfully.
  • Reinforce the use of approved communication and service language among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth operational transitions between shifts.
  • Lead by example through professional appearance and adherence to VPNE uniform standards while ensuring team members follow the same guidelines.
  • Ensure team members maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to support operational needs and maintain seamless service across all programs.
