SPORTS FIELD SOLUTIONS IS SEEKING A: Part-Time Grounds Crew Member To maintain immaculate sports fields at Baylor University for 20+ hours a week in the morning hours. Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and restore grounds within the assigned field as directed, including any and all activities or tasks fundamental to baseball/softball field care.
• Monitor, report, and resolve irrigation issues, problems and/or concerns on assigned field or complex.
• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, sprayers and sod cutters.
• Report/address field issues such as turf stress, disease, wear areas, etc.
• Work with other grounds staff as directed and perform other duties as assigned
• Prepare, maintain, and restore all baseball/softball clay areas including infield skins, mounds, home plate and warning track, and perform other tasks fundamental to athletic turf care
• Monitor, report and resolve field issues such as turf stress, disease, irrigation problems and pest management issues
• Perform preventative maintenance operations on various pieces of equipment
• Assist with tarp handling and inclement weather situations when customer deems necessary
