The Part-Time Automotive Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse functions, including but not limited to the following: picking parts from any warehouse zone, packing, and securing parts for shipment to dealers; completing all appropriate paperwork; operating multiple types of powered industrial equipment; special projects as assigned and Inventory Maintenance Activities. Click here to learn more about our operation! This position is approximately 28 hours per week (Monday - Friday). The typical shift is currently 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM; the exact schedule may vary. Responsibilities: Use of PIVs (Powered Industrial Vehicles) such as tuggers, forklifts, pallet jacks or lift machines to perform assigned tasks Use of safety equipment such as seat belts or fall protection body harness with lanyard is required Associates are responsible for the efficient completion of their assigned work and are also expected to interact professionally with others in a team-oriented environment Read and retain numbers and complete forms/paperwork accurately and legibly Meet safety, individual production, and quality performance objectives in a fast-paced environment Work with minimum supervision & follow through on assignments Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be safety-minded team players, flexible to work additional hours, dependable and report to work on time, and have a solid demonstration of their commitment to our Core Values. Warehousing or Manufacturing type experience preferred Previous automotive parts experience helpful, but not required Good attention to detail Physical requirements include the ability to stand/walk the majority of the day and perform a significant amount of bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, grasping and ability to lift 70 lbs. Attend and pass a Hazardous Materials Handling/Transportation class Qualified to operate, pass testing, and maintain certification on power equipment (including but not limited to Forklifts, order pickers, tuggers, and stackers) Valid driver's license required Prior experience with powered industrial equipment is preferred Benefits: Health insurance (including dental and vision) Retirement Packages offered such as Profit Sharing, Pension, 401(k) Long-term and short-term disability Associate discounts Must work 24 hours or more to receive company benefits.
