About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented  Temporary Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations for a 3–6 month period. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day financial tasks, and ensure accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Assist with payroll processing, as needed
  • Maintain general ledger and supporting documentation
  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
  • Support month-end and close-out activities
  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding billing issues
