Part-Time Delivery Driver

About The Position

Firespring is in search of a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a delivery driver. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries between our Omaha and Lincoln offices. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver’s license, familiarity with Omaha's streets, and exceptional communication and time management skills.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Familiarity with operating a dock-high straight truck (CDL license not required).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
Proficient knowledge of navigating Omaha's streets.

Nice To Haves

Experience with operating a pallet jack is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily runs between Firespring's Omaha and Lincoln facilities.
Handle deliveries and pickups to/from customer or vendor locations along the Omaha to Lincoln route.
Ensure all items are quality-checked and properly loaded onto the delivery vehicle.
Assist shipping and bindery departments in both plants by preparing items for delivery, including shrink wrapping and organizing multiple pallets (up to 10 or more).
Act as a backup for other drivers when needed.
Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Maintain flexibility with scheduling to accommodate fast-turnaround projects.
