The School of Health Sciences is seeking a knowledgeable and committed part-time faculty member to join the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program to teach Cross-Sectional Anatomy. The successful candidate will will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality classroom instruction in both lecture and/or laboratory settings, in alignment with the approved course curriculum. The instructor will select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Three years of experience in an educational institution
• Three years of experience scanning in a clinical setting.
• RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/Gyn

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching Cross-Sectional Anatomy.
• Experience educating and supervising students in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
• Actively engage students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course curriculum.
• Complete all course assessments as required.
