Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School is accepting applications for possible Part-Time Faculty positions. Class times may be evenings and/or weekends. Duties may include the following: Teaching undergraduate students within a defined field of expertise; Developing and managing course syllabi and ensuring that syllabi meet Program and School standards; Planning and creating lectures, discussions, and course assignments; Assessing student learning outcomes and aiding student success; Submitting grades in a timely manner. Part-time faculty at The New School bargain collectively through Academics Come Together, ACT-UAW, Local 7902. Studio Hourly Rate: $127.50/contact hr Seminar Hourly Rate: $151/contact hr Work Mode: On-Campus/Online #LI-Onsite _________ Qualifications vary by disciplinary area, but generally require: A terminal degree or equivalent experience in the field of specialty is preferred. 2-3 years of teaching experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives, preferably in a College, University, or school setting. Requirements
