About The Position

Stoel Rives LLP has an exciting temporary opportunity for a Legal Recruiting & Events Intern, based in our Seattle, Washington office for late spring and summer 2026. You will work closely with our recruiting team to assist with event logistics, candidate engagement, data tracking, and communication with attorneys, staff, and law students. This role is ideal for an organized, enthusiastic, and detail‑oriented student who is interested in recruiting, event coordination, or exploring the law firm environment. WORK HOURS Primarily on site in our downtown Seattle office, Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ~10 hours/week starting mid‑April then increasing to 15-20 hours/week in May through at least mid-August. Required attendance at a minimum of four evening events throughout the summer (5:00-8:00 p.m.)

  • Technical Knowledge Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Be a current student at an accredited university or college in good academic standing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
  • Interest in learning recruiting and law firm software programs (i.e., ATS candidate tracking, interview evaluations, HRIS and viDesktop) is a plus.
  • Current law students may apply; however, participation in our summer associate program will not be available while enrolled in law school.

Responsibilities

  • Summer Associate Program Support
  • Support the team with coordination of summer program events, including vendor communication, space reservations, catering, invitations, etc.
  • Provide onsite event support in the Seattle office, including day-of setup/breakdown and attending selected evening events.
  • Help keep attorneys, staff, and summer associates informed through reminders and updates (in person and via email).
  • Support the summer evaluation process by generating reminders, monitoring submissions, and preparing reports.
  • Law Student & Attorney Recruiting
  • Assist with candidate tracking and interview logistics, including application packets, scheduling, and communications.
  • Support firmwide recruiting initiatives through research, spreadsheets, and problem-solving.
  • Help collect onboarding paperwork and coordinate pre-arrival logistics for incoming employees.

Benefits

  • The pay for this role is $21.00/hour, consistent with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.
